Stroll (2024)
“Stroll” is an artwork designed to evoke the experience of strolling along a pathway in nature. This one leads to a quiet meeting place where residents of The Towers in New Haven, CT. can gather in prayer or community. The complete art installation encompasses a corridor in which the wall and ceiling are comprised of backlit photographic glass panels leading to a sanctuary. The artwork extends further into the chamber, culminating at the Ark Door, or Tabernacle that completes the artwork. “Stroll” is a multi-dimensional artwork combining photographic, drawing and collage techniques to create the impression of cascading light and shadow, color and line reminiscent of sunlight filtered through a garden trellis. The artwork utilizes trans-illuminated light emanating through photographic glass and photographic imagery printed on prefabricated materials as specified by the Interior Design team of CAMA, Inc.
